| GREAT 8 LATEST |
July 7 2010.
The Great 8 is all coming together and sponsorship options are still open for single classes and hourly slots of the race to sections of the track and more – It's just a matter of companies getting on board and making this fantastic event work for the riders AND for their own companies. Organiser Tony Nash reports that there is some sponsorship news to come in the next week or so. Could it be one of the major machine manufacturers getting involved in this event and showing the riders, supporters and customers that they are actually interested in the sport as a viable and profitable market sector?
The new Youth Great 8 will in fact be a four hour event for 12 to16 year old riders on production based machines. Classes and team make up will be in the regulations, but will be two riders with one machine, (Iron Quad), or two riders on two machines.
The regulations for this and the Great 8 adult event will be online at www.qrauk.com shortly.
This event is aimed at all abilities and all types of quad. The focus of the event, besides the racing, is for quad family and friends to have a good weekend of fun.
The venue will again be at Hannington, near Basingstoke in Hampshire, just off the A339 Newbury to Basingstoke Road.
Any questions about the event, sponsorship, trade stands, advertisers, marshals or helpers - contact Tony Nash via e-mail at tony@qrauk.com or call 07774 434468.
